Selling Used Books
Between May 2 - May 28, 2024 we will not be acquiring any used books. If you would like to sell Cleary's used books, please plan to bring them in for review after those dates. Thank you!
We Buy Used Books!
We are happy to review and purchase used books from you. The structure is simple, we review your books and for all used books that we decide to purchase, we offer you in store credit. Store credit can be redeemed at any time and can be applied to your purchase of all either new or used books in-store or online.
If you would like to sell used books to Cleary's, please read the following guidelines:
- We only process 25 books at a time. Please limit your submitted books to that amount.
- We review your books same day.
- We accept or reject a book based on a multitude of criteria, including age of the book, condition, our current inventory needs, and others.
- All books not selected for purchase from Cleary's Bookstore need to go back with you (we cannot currently accept donations or donate books).
- All offers are final.
- We do not accept the following for consideration:
- Magazines (any and all)
- Encyclopedias
- Book of the Month Club
- Mass Market Paperbacks
- Former Library Books
- DVDs
- Advance Readers Copies
We are happy to review your used books Tuesday - Friday and Sundays, no appointment necessary.
We are not able to review used books on Saturdays, at in-store book clubs, and at store events.
