Book Clubs
Cleary's Bookstore currently hosts four book clubs—Romance, Fantasy, Historical Fiction & Mystery, Thriller and Suspense. Here are all the details:
- Who: Book clubs are open to all who would like to attend
- What: We select two book options, one hardback newer release and one paperback you might have missed. You can choose which you would like to read (or you can read both!). Each book is discussed in a separate group at the next scheduled meeting and the new picks are announced the day after each club's scheduled meeting. For example, this week's club will meet and discuss the two current picks and then on Friday (the day after book club) we announce the two new picks for the next book club meeting. It's working so far, but we will revisit if any of the clubs decide that they would like to go down to a single book pick each month.
- Where: Monthly in-person meetings at the store.
- When: Rotating schedule that meets Thursdays at 7pm.
- Why: Because we love books, silly!
