A Grim Reaper's Guide to Living Twice

A funny, heartwarming fantasy mystery about the struggles of modern-day grim reapers wrestling with death—and life

A dead-end job has never been funnier when a grim reaper's body is hijacked by the soul she was sent to collect.

Jack McCoy’s body is dead and buried, but he's got a new one—the body of the grim reaper assigned to transport his soul to the afterlife. Instead of a freewheeling, small-time crook, he's now to all outward appearances a prim senior citizen. It gives him the chance for professional redemption: one final spectacular heist! It's Ocean's Eleven in the afterlife, as Jack, aka Margaret Chen, must convince his old gang that (a) he's actually Jack and (b) they can make a killing by stealing the list of who's about to die.

In this delightfully zany mystery, Jack must contend with arthritis, the woman who got away, and someone who's one step ahead of him. . .
